All SAC and CCLC grantees may become members and attend the conference.  This organization has the following five categories to select from: Adult Education and Literacy Administrators, Adult Education and Literacy Teachers, Higher Education, Community Education, and Before and Afterschool.  This conference is geared towards all of these categories and their respective audiences.
This conference posting pertains to the 2011-2012 grant year.  Attendance at this conference will fulfill your 2011-2012 state training requirement.

The Missouri Workshop Calendar for Early Childhood and Youth Development Professionals in a premiere on-line resource for training and co-sponsored by Child Care Aware of Missouri and the Missouri AfterSchool Network (MASN).
This is another great opportunity for additional professional development. All trainings provided here will automatically count toward the DHSS clock-hour requirement. These trainings to do not replace your one regional training requirement, but again, are a great addition of professional development for staff.
21st CCLC & SAC State Training - Procedure

CCLC grantees must attend ONE of the following statewide conferences each grant year:
 
  MOSAC2 Conference (all Afterschool focused; held in Oct/Nov; http://www.mosac2.org/pdi/index.htm)
  MAACCE Conference (some Afterschool sessions, held in June; www.maacce.org)
 
In addition, all SAC grantees must complete a minimum of eight (8) hours of mandatory School Age Community training provided by an appropriate certified trainer (licensing requirement).  This does not include the required four (4) hours of CPR and first aid training.
