21st CCLC Waiver Extension Requested
Please forward this item to federal program directors, business managers and financial officials of public school districts.
Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is requesting an extension of the period of availability for FY2024 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program. News and Updates | Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
In order to extend the period of availability beyond September 30, 2026, DESE is requesting a waiver under Section 8401 of ESEA to extend the period of availability of FY2024 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) for the SEA and all of its sub-awardees to September 30, 2027.
Relevant personnel should review this waiver request and submit questions or comments via email at afterschool@dese.mo.gov by Monday, March 2, 2026.

Afterschool Grant Writing Workshop - January 30, 2026
Jefferson City is not expecting any winter weather; therefore, the workshop remains scheduled.
