The
Missouri AfterSchool Network (MASN) can help you further your training and
education at no cost to you! If you are passionate about providing children and
youth quality programming and care, let MASN assist you in turning your passion
into a state credential in youth development. Research has shown that a
program’s quality depends on the quality of the direct service staff. Individuals
with a Youth Development Credential (YDC) have documented that they have the
knowledge and skills necessary to ensure a well-run, quality program.
The
YDC Scholarship Project gives you one-on-one support through the YDC process,
pays for your CypherWorx access (with over 120 hours of afterschool and youth
development-specific training available) and the associated assessment fees,
and gives you $200 for earning your YDC. If you are 18 years of age or older,
have a high school diploma or GED, and work in a Missouri program with a DVN,
you are eligible for a scholarship! To learn more, visit https://moafterschool.org/ydcscholarship/
