The CDC issued new guidance stating that a fully vaccinated individual that is exposed to someone with a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 are not required to quarantine if they are within three months of receiving the last dose in their vaccination series and have remained asymptomatic since the current COVID-19 exposure. A fully vaccinated individual is defined as:
- Someone who received their second dose in a two-dose vaccine series more than two weeks ago
- Someone who received their first dose in a single-dose vaccine more than two weeks ago
