The Missouri Department of Social Services is excited to announce a new 2022 training series, DSS Learning Labs, designed to help you learn more about DSS divisions and programs as well as the services and resources our agency provides to assist you and/or the individuals you serve. We know your time is valuable so, these information-packed learning opportunities will be offered in brief 30-minute sessions, twice each week. Each session will cover a different program or topic so, you'll want to plan to attend both sessions each week. If you are unable to attend the training, a link will be provided to view at a later date. Our targeted audience is anyone interested in learning about services and resources. Please encourage staff members to attend or listen to the recorded video. The goal from the DSS Learning Labs is to educate individuals across the state about the available resources they can access when working with individuals. Watch your email for an invite for the DSS Learning Labs training series. Sessions will begin in February and will be held every Tuesday and Thursday at 10am throughout 2022. This year's conference doesn't offer any afterschool related sessions. However, it could be a good resource for those programs also serving children under the age of five. However, afterschool grant dollars can not pay for this event this year.
